I coach and advise startup founders, executives, and investors – technical auteurs and offbeat visionaries who feel deeply and dream audaciously. My mission is to catalyze your journey towards profound alignment and connection.

My methods are as unconventional as my clients, derived from two decades of experience as a founder, startup executive, med school dropout, and pastor. I’ve devoted thousands of hours to my own and others' inner exploration, learning from some of the best teachers and coaches in the Bay Area. Everything in my toolkit has been tested in the fires of pragmatism and self-experimentation.

I’m fluent in the language and tactics of business and startups, with hard-won experience from zero to scale in a variety of industries: B2B SaaS, consumer AI, and climate finance. I’ve raised millions in venture capital from the best firms, scaled revenue to double-digit millions, and hired hundreds of employees. I’ve navigated through the hard parts too, from lawsuits and layoffs to co-founder breakups.

We chase achievement for many reasons, from the idiosyncratic to the mundane. But I've come to believe the sweetest rewards aren’t found in the accomplishment of our goals, but rather in the opportunities they afford us for personal growth and spiritual transformation. I can’t wait to witness your evolution.

Here's what some folks have said about working with me:

Alex MacCaw, founder, Clearbit:
I learned to rely on Luke’s wisdom and thoughtfulness in the early days of Clearbit. Starting a company is incredibly hard; you’d be silly not to have Luke on your side.
Bryan McCann, founder and CTO, You.com:
Luke’s gifts of communication and empathetic presence were invaluable to me as I navigated the challenges of starting a company for the first time.
Cassandra Xia, founding engineer, Evergrow:
Luke is one of the most emotionally intelligent humans I know. I’ve learned so much from him and so will you.
Max Ockner, founder, stealth AI startup:
Working with Luke unblocked me, resulting in expansion and inner growth I would have struggled to achieve on my own.
Joy Ding, computer scientist and artist:
Luke is curious, empathetic and kind. He is good at big picture imagining and concrete goals to create new momentum. He is relationally thoughtful and technically informed and it is a pleasure to talk with him about most things. Luke is great, work with Luke!
